Maybe I can keep this blog going a bit better than before.

The year 2015 draws to an end with an abnormally old start to winter.  Many things have started sprouting before the real cold hits.  Tomorrow we have a winter storm coming, though, so the balance may return.

Earlier this fall, I got a windfall of firewood, and with some much-appreciated help got it moved off the front lawn, and quite a bit split, as well.  Two sources, a very large silver maple, and some ash logs and chips..
